Instructions

  • For Baked Teriyaki salmon, first, preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit to 200 degrees Celsius. Whisk teriyaki sauce ingredients like soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger with orange juice, flour, water, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
  • Lay the salmon fillets on the baking sheet. Pour the mixed teriyaki sauce all over the salmon fillets evenly. In the preheated oven, place the baking sheet. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes, or until cooked and flaky.
  • After the salmon cooking is done, remove the baking sheet. And pour the thickened sauce over the salmon fillets with a tablespoon.
  • Garnish the teriyaki salmon oven baked with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • red chilli flakes for spiciness are optional and can be adjusted to taste
  • it is better to keep the salmon skin as it holds the moisture and prevents the flesh from getting seperated
  • the pan seared salmon skin is better, it makes it soft and delicious, where the oven baked salmon skin becomes delicious and rubbery.
  • it is better to start cooking with skin side down
  • teriyaki sauce is versatile and ingredients can be adjusted to your needed.
