Instructions
For Garlic Honey Pork Tenderloin, first preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit / 180 degrees Celsius. Remove extra fat if any is present on the pork tenderloin. And at several places on the pork, pierce it with a fork.
Mix together the ingredients in for pork tenderloin marinade together. By pressing firmly and evenly on all sides, rub it all over the pork.
Heat oil in the oven-proof skillet on high heat. Add the pork and sear till it gets golden brown, turning on all sides after every 2 -3 minutes.
Then place the skillet in the oven and roast for 18 - 20 minutes.
Take a small saucepan and add the ingredients for honey garlic sauce and whisk them well. Now on low fire bring it to a boil.
Next, combine the cornstarch and water together to make a slurry and add the honey garlic sauce. Whisk till it gets thickened slightly. Then remove it from heat and keep it aside.
Remove the pork from the oven, and baste it with honey garlic sauce.
Keep the oven on broil and keep the pork in. Broil the pork for 3 minutes, so that the sauce gets caramelized properly.
When the oven-roasted honey garlic pork tenderloin is done, let it rest for 4 - 5 minutes covered. Then thickly slice cut the pork and serve with chopped thyme and rosemary.
Notes
It is better to use meat thermometer. Take it out from the oven, when the pork internal temperature shows 150F / 65C. This time consumed here is nearly 12 - 14 minutes and the perfect time.
If you don't have oven proof skillet, you can transfer you content before roasting to a baking dish in the oven and continue.
