Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium lemon juice extracted
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Green onions or parsley chopped for garnishing

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl put honey, garlic, lemon, and soy sauce together. Stir and mix them very well.
  • Next reserve half of the mixed sauce aside. Put the remaining half over the shrimp and mix well. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Take the medium pan/skillet, add butter on medium-high heat. Then add the marinated shrimp and discard the marinade. Season these with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the shrimp until they turn pink, for nearly 2 - 3 minutes (depending on the size) on each side.
  • Finally, add the reserved marinade to the shrimp. And cook till the sauce becomes thick and completely coats the shrimp all over . Garnish this easy 20 minute Sticky Honey Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry with parsley or green onions.

Notes

  • if large shrimp are not available, try getting the medium shrimp
  • shrimp tails can be removed, I would prefer keeping them it adds more taste
  • try to get deveined shrimp from  the market or devein them
