This Chicken 65 is very popular dish served at various occasions as appetizers. This Recipe for chicken 65 is originated from South Indian. Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken pieces boneless

Chicken 65 Marination

  • 3 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2-3 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 3 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 2 tbsp Plain Flour Maida
  • 1/4 tsp Food Color Orange or Red(Optional)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt to Taste

Chicken 65 Seasoning

  • 4-5 garlics chopped finely
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger pieces chopped finely
  • 2-3 green chillies slit
  • 2 kashmiri red chillies
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon red chilly sauce / paste according to taste

Instructions

  • Take the boneless chicken pieces cut properly, wash it with water and drain the excess water out.
  • Add all the chicken ingredients items mentioned in Chicken 65 Marination and mix them well with chicken boneless pieces. This Chicken 65 Masala Powder can be used.
  • Marinate the chicken for atleast 2 hours and keep it in refrigerator for overnight. The longer marination get better taste.
  • If kept in the refrigerator, before cooking take it out and let it come back to room temperature.
  •  After Marination is over, heat oil in large wok (thick-bottomed pan /kadai). Deep fry the chicken pieces on medium heat in batches. Fry for 2-3 minutes stirring constantly till it becomes golden brown and crispy. Then Drain and remove the chicken pieces on paper to absorb the excess oil.
  • Next take 1 tablespoon oil and fry the chopped garlic and ginger for few seconds then add the slit green chillies, red kashmiri chillies, curry leaves, red chilly paste / sauce and sprinkle little water and cook for litle while.
  • Then add the fried chicken pieces and toss it very well. Continue Stirring till the chicken is coated very well.
  • Remove the chicken pieces in the serving plate and the Hyderabadi Restaurant Style Chicken 65 at Home Is ready. Serving it with sliced onion and lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Add salt according to your taste
  • Adding color is optional.
  • If you really want spicy the chilly sauce can be added, or according to your taste.
  • Chicken pieces with bones also can be used (boneless is preferable)
