Creamy Lemon Butter Chicken Thighs is a tasty chicken recipe. This recipe for tasty lemon garlic butter chicken is mouth-watering, which is first pan fried and then baked in oven. Ingredients

  • 6 Chicken Thighs with bone in & skin on
  • salt and ground pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted

For Lemon Butter Sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic minced or 1.5 teaspoons garlic paste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried / fresh thyme
  • 2 cups baby spinach leaves

Instructions

  • For Lemon Butter Chicken, first preheat the oven to 400˚F (200˚C).  Take the chicken thighs and season them with salt, pepper and paprika and keep them aside.
  • Now take a large oven proof pan, place it on medium-high heat. Now add 2 tablespoons butter deglazing (all over the pan).
  • Further, add the chicken thighs pieces with the skin down. Sear for 2 - 3 minutes on each side till golden brown and keep them aside.
  • For Lemon Butter Sauce, add the remaining 1 tablespoon butter to the pan. Add garlic and stir fry for  2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Further add the chicken broth, parmesan, heavy cream, lemon juice, thyme and stir well. Bring this to a boil and reduce the heat to medium low.
  • Add the spinach and simmer till it gets wilted and the sauce also gets thickened for about 4 - 5 minutes. Lemon Butter Sauce is ready.
  • Add the chicken pieces back to the pan. Put the pan in the oven and bake at 400˚F (200˚C) for 25 – 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165˚F
  • Creamy lemon garlic butter chicken thighs are ready, garnish with lemon slices and thyme leaves
