Instructions
For Pork Belly Bites, cut the pork belly evenly into medium sized cubes.
Place these cut pork cubes into the medium bowl. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to it. Nicely rub this added mixture over the cubes evenly on all sides.
Take a frying pan (heavy bottomed) add oil to it on high heat. Fry the pork cubes for nearly 5 minutes on each side or until golden and heated through. While flipping turn the heat to medium high. And if the pork cubes are getting too brown turn the heat to medium.
Take a slotted spoon, remove the fried cubes from the pan. Discard the remaining fat.
Prepare Sauce, when the pork is getting cooked. Take a small bowl and add grated ginger, minced garlic, cider vinegar, soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce and honey. Mix them well to prepare the sauce.
Finally, add the cooked pork bites to the pan and pour the sauce prepared all over. Cook tossing for 3 - 5 minutes on medium-low heat. Cook till the pork cubes are well coated, sticky, glossy and the sauce reduces. The sticky garlic pork belly bites are ready, serve them by sprinkling spring onions and red chilli.
Notes
It is better to use meat thermometer. The internal temperature of the cooked pork bites should be 145°F
After frying the pork cubes, discard the remaining fat in the pan
Better to use splatter screen while frying, to avoid the hot splashes of fat
