Hot Fudge Cake is a delicious perfect chocolate dessert prepared at most occasion. It is a perfect fudgy, gooey and messy delicious cake. This recipe for warm pudding cake is an easy and quick dessert prepared with simple ingredients. Check how to make hot chocolate fudge pudding cake.


Ingredients

FOR CAKE

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar white granulated
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine unsalted & melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

FOR HOT FUDGE SAUCE

  • 1/2 cup sugar white granulated
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 + 1/4 cups boiling water

Instructions

  • For hot fudge pudding cake, first preheat the oven to 350°F or 175°C. Next take little cooking oil and grease the baking tray. Keep it aside.
  • Take all the cake dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and salt) and mix them well in the large mixing bowl.
  • Add all cake wet ingredients (melted butter, milk and vanilla) to the dry ingredients mixed above. Mix them well till they get well combined and smooth.
  • Transfer them to the greased baking tray.
  • Take a small bowl, add all the fudge sauce ingredients (sugar, brown sugar and cocoa powder). Mix them well.
  • Sprinkle them evenly over the cake top.
  • Take the hot water, gently and evenly pour it over the cake top. DON’T MIX OR STIR. LET IT REST ON TOP!
  • Bake the pudding cake for nearly 35 – 40 minutes, until the cake center is almost set.
  • Remove the pudding cake from oven and let it rest nearly for 15 minutes. The gooey chocolate cake with pudding is ready for serving.
  • Hot Fudge Chocolate Pudding Cake is served warm with any favorite ice cream or cream on top of your choice. And also can be served warm without any toppings.

Notes

  • DO NOT STIR, once all the fudge sauce ingredients are sprinkled on top. Let these ingredients along with the hot water rest on top.
  • the hot water poured should be VERY HOT
  • after removing the hot fudge pudding cake from the oven, let it rest for nearly 15 minutes.
  • any chocolate chips, coffee powder, nuts or sliced almonds of your choice can be added for additional flavor in the batter before baking
