4 cloves garlic (sliced)
2tablespoonolive oil
1/2teaspoonred pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
To make sautéed broccoli rabe with garlic, first wash the broccoli rabe thoroughly, trimming the hard end of the stems.
Boil the broccoli rabe in a pot of salted water. Blanch it for 2 - minutes, then transfer it to an ice bath. It will reduce the bitterness.
Heat olive oil in a pan on medium heat and sauté the garlic and red pepper flakes. Saute them until fragrant for nearly 1 minute.
Cook the Broccoli Rabe to the pan, tossing to coat in the garlic-infused oil. Cook for 3-5 minutes until tender
Season this broccoli rabe with salt and pepper, drizzle with extra olive oil if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
To reduce bitterness, blanch in boiling salted water for 1 - 2 minutes before cooking.
Use fresh sliced garlic to give nice smell and increase the flavor.
Don't overcook just sauté just until the greens are tender but still slightly crisp
