How Long Does it Take To Roast The Whole Chicken
I always roast chicken at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for the first 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 350 degree Fahrenheit, and continue the roasting for another 20 minutes depending on the weight of the chicken. The basic rule is, for every 1 pound (450 grams approx) it should be roasted for 20 minutes.
