For this lemon pepper chicken with garlic, mostly the simple ingredients are used:

- salt and pepper
- olive oil
- garlic (minced)
- lemon juice
- chicken broth or stock
- dried oregano
- dried thyme
- fresh chopped parsley, plus extra to garnish

How To Make Crispy Lemon Chicken With Garlic
- For crispy lemon chicken thighs, first, preheat the oven to 400°F – 200°C. Nicely pat dry the chicken thighs or breasts with a paper towel. Nicely season them with salt and pepper. Take a small bowl to prepare the sauce mixture, and add lemon juice, chicken broth, oregano, thyme, and parsley. Mix them well.
- Take an oven-proof pan, and heat oil on medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs or breasts with skin side down. Sear for nearly 8 minutes or until crispy golden brown. Then turn it and sear for another 8 minutes, till it becomes golden brown.
- Add the garlic to one side of the pan and saute for nearly 30 seconds. Then transfer the garlic to the sauce mixture. Mix it well and then transfer the sauce evenly over the chicken. Transfer the pan to the oven and bake the chicken for nearly 15 -20 minutes till cooked and the internal temperature shows 165°F.
- When the crispy baked lemon chicken is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for at least 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper if necessary. Garnish it with chopped parsley and lemon juice according to taste.
