- Prepare the dough in advance, overnight is the best, or at least 4 hours before. It sets the dough properly and becomes easy to roll. If dough rolling is not easy, then let it refrigerate for a little more time.
- Let the dough balls get well coated in powdered sugar, to get a good snow white top.
- Do not overbake the cookies, remove them when the cracks are developed and edges set.
- When removed from the oven, they seem soft, these cookies keep baking as they cool and will harden more as they cool. If baked longer, there will be no fudgy center.
- Smaller doughs require less time, for baking. 1 tablespoon of dough per cookie will take 10 minutes, and 2 tablespoons will take nearly 12 – 15 minutes.

- For easy fudgy chocolate crinkle cookies, in a medium bowl, mix together cocoa powder, white sugar, and vegetable oil. Add the eggs individually, and beat well till well combined. Then add vanilla and mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Add this flour mixture to the wet mixture and mix well till the dough forms. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight. (till the dough gets chilled completely)
- Once ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350°F | 175°C. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl add the icing / powdered sugar. Scoop out 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball with your clean palms. Place the dough ball into the powdered sugar and let it get evenly coated all over. Place the coated cookie balls on the baking sheet keeping them 2 inches apart. Repeat the same for the remaining dough.
- Bake for 10 – 12 minutes, until the edges are set, the tops are slightly cracked and the centers are soft. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. - 1 cup powdered sugar / icing sugar for cookies coating

- Take a cookie scoop to scoop out 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball with your clean palms. Place the dough ball into the powdered sugar and let it get evenly coated and generously.
- Place the coated balls on the baking sheet keeping them 2 inches apart. Repeat the same for the remaining dough.
- Bake for 10 - 12 minutes, until the edges are set, the tops are slightly cracked and the centers are soft. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. (The cookies will be slightly soft when removed from the oven and harden as they cool.)
- Serve fudgy brownie crinkle cookies immediately, store in a sealed container for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
