Store the Roasted chickpeas in a loosely covered container, at room temperature for 4-5 days. The oven-roasted chickpeas will remain dry and crispy.
Store oven roast crunchy chickpeas in the freezer for at least 1 month. But it's better not to store them in the freezer or fridge, as the roasted chickpeas will lose their crispiness and become soft.

Ingredients
- 2 cans 15 ounce chickpeas
- salt

- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
- For Roasted Chickpeas, first preheat the oven to 400°F. Take the canned chickpeas, nicely rinse them with a colander in running water and drain them. a
- Place them on the kitchen towel and dry them properly. Remove the skins of the loose chickpeas while drying.
- Take the dried chickpeas and place them on the bare baking sheet. Drizzle oil on them and sprinkle salt. Now toss them nicely till evenly well coated.
- Roast the chickpeas for 30 - 40 minutes. At every 10 minutes shake the pan. Roast till they get golden brown, dry and crispy.
- When golden brown, remove one chickpea and check if it is crispy and crunchy. Continue roasting till it is properly done. (The exact bake time can differ depending on the chickpeas brand)
- Remove the chickpeas from the oven, and while they are warm, toss them evenly with spices (smoked paprika, ground cumin, garlic powder and black pepper) or spices of your choice. Let them cool for 5 - 10 minutes, to achieve more crispiness.
- Serve these crispy crunchy roasted chickpeas as snacks, salads toppings or a side dish. It can be stored in loose air tight container at room temperature for 2 weeks.

- for dry chickpeas soak them in water for overnight or at least 4-5 hours. Soaking dry chickpeas will enlarge them
- rinse, drain and make the chickpeas as dry as possible, to achieve crispiness
- crispy roasted chickpeas can be prepared simply with salt and oil. But spices of your choice can be added optionally.
